"Hell can be contained in the most unsuspected places..."

A man purchases an antiquity: a puzzling cube that happens to possess magic powers. By manipulating it, the man awakens a demon and is cursed by it, while his skin is being torn off.

A prisoner of his attic, he convinces his ex-wife to kill for him to dress himself with human remains.

The makeup in this movie is incredible; especially considering when this movie was made. Because the cursed character has no skin, we see his muscles pop up, covered in blood and we believe in it. The story is a bit repetitive and slow but very original, mostly for the time.

Even though most people consider this to be the best movie in the series, I consider it to be the worst. We barely see Pinhead, the movie’s mascot, and the movie lacks creativity.

However, as the movie advances, things get better. The finale is intense and obscure.
