"Children who own an apartment building… and its tenants."
Having repeatedly tried to contact her grandmother by telephone, without success, Jamie decides to go visit her to investigate. For the first time, she steps into the dilapidated building where she regrets having allowed her grandmother to live.
Jamie discovers the apartment empty and cannot find any clues. The authorities refuse to start en investigation before 24 hours after the disappearance, hours during which many odd things happen. Each other tenant in the building is weirder than the previous. Then, while going to the mini-mart not far away, she meets macabre children with psychotic glances.
No one seems to know these children or their parents. They live during the night and amuse themselves by knocking on doors and running away. The corn field in front of the building seems to hide a few secrets.

Very few actors appear in this movie. Furthermore, the special effects are rare and the horror is due more to the suspense than to the violence. It is the typical portrait of a small budget series with one exception: Children of the Corn: Revelation will surprise more than one. It is, in fact, very good. We no longer have the countryside atmosphere that was present in its predecessors but we keep the feeling of insecurity thanks to unhealthy rooms and badly lit poor districts, which resembles Candyman.
A few scenes are stressful. Except for the scenes filmed on an angle, the camera angles are successful. The story is realistic and does not become too complex. However, this changes nearing the end of the movie, but everything is explained with a hard to believe ending. The bad guys are a bit too easy to defeat, in my opinion, but this movie is certainly not the worst in the series.
