Fans of nice cars, rapid acceleration and high speed will be glued to their seats during the whole presentation. From the start, we get a good feeling of what is to come: three black Honda Civics equipped with sub-chassis neon lights lead the show when they chase a truck and its cargo.
The action and context practically never stop uselessly. We always want to see farther, faster and all this to the sound of a well-chosen soundtrack. The camera angles give us the impression of being the driver. The races and chases are filmed with incredible detail and from remarkable angles. This movie induces a flow of adrenaline similar to the danger of high speeds.
The context of an undercover cop is used successfully: the action does not become repetitive and without purpose. The final punch will not be a surprise if the viewer has seen Point Break, a ten-year-old movie that follows the same structure. In fact, the similarities are obvious. Both feature a string of robberies investigated by an undercover police officer that becomes friends with the leader of the gang, falls in love with another member and takes part in their extreme sport.
The last moments are rushed because too many elements that were developed during the film try to end abruptly.
