"If aliens came in sworms..."

A small family from a small quiet town gets visited by extra-terrestrial life. These small fur balls hide and attack without warning. They fight and try to conquer the local village.

However, a team of bounty hunters have followed them through space and, armed to the teeth, chase their prey throughout the fields and farms of the village.

Critters recalled me the tide of invasion movies and shows a visible influence from the movie Gremlins. These critters could have been terrifying but their physical strength, the strength they throw their spines and the ridiculous speed at which they walk combined with their size makes it hard to have sympathy for the victims. We evidently get the impression they want to die.

The worst thing that can ruin a drama-horror movie is to have the hero be a child. Furthermore, it is obvious, from the start, that the child will be the only one to be able to save them.
