This very slow story dives into the head of a mysterious character that lives only for himself, tot he point of confounding his reality with that of others. The metaphors and transitions are impeccable considering how hard it is to understand someone who is mentally ill. Dennis’s very nature and past will remain mysterious to the end.
With such a cold character who only mumbles, questions himself and walks around, it is difficult to participate in the plot’s unfolding. You’ll have to be very curious to get to the end of the film. I managed to accomplish this even though I was very disinterested. Even if the conclusion is surprising, it doesn’t justify the wait.
