"Freddy needs Jesse's body to live again…"
Jesse moves into a house where Nancy, a girl of his age, had once lived. From her bed, she dreamt of a man that killed through dreams. Jesse finds her secret diary and it explains that this man murdered all of her friends.
Some unexplained events happen: the heat rises, shadows in the backyard, etc. Finally, Jesse loses control of his own body. He realizes that Freddy, the murderer from nightmares has taken possession of his body.

A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2 : Freddy’s Revenge is an insult to the original. The idea behind the original was divine but the sequel just copies the same elements.
If we forget this detail, the film is better. It is a story of possession. The acting is generally not bad but Mark Patton, who plays Jesse, deserves to go to hell. In the history of movies, he is the most insignificant actor I have ever seen. When Jesse, at the end of the movie, gets assaulted by Freddy and torn apart like a doll, I almost cried of happiness.
Sadly, a few minutes later, he comes back in better shape than ever.
