Devil in the Flesh 2 is a replica of the movie The Crush, with Alicia Silverstone. In fact, it could have been entitled The Crush 2 and logically follow the first movie. It begins in an asylum where the main character is in love with her doctor. Then, because he betrays her, she kill shim. Purely coincidently, Darian in The Crush was also in love with her psychologist. This coincidence greatly disappointed me. However, I must say that taken as a whole, it surpasses the movie it clones.
I liked Jodi Lyn O’keefe more than Rose McGowan, who played the same role in the original. When her character falls into madness, she has an indescribable way of playing the hypnotist that almost makes us want to talk in her place because she tries so hard to find the right words.
This movie’s budget must have been very limited because I didn’t notice any quality special effects. On the other hand, the acting is excellent, proving that it is worthwhile to search for actors that have just recently finished acting school.
