The Japanese franchise Ju-On wreaks havoc in Asia. Three sequels, a television series and books, all based on the original movie, are available there.

Today, Americans get a piece of the pie with Sony Pictures Entertainment's upcoming release: The Grudge. The recently released horror movie The Ring was also a remake of a Japanese film, Ringu. Much like its twin, The Grudge features demons against the living and little girls with long black hair.

I have a feeling that this will be one entertaining flick that is sure to startle you. The Grudge is scheduled for release on October 22nd in North America.
